Hi
1. Camera - you can ignore the camera, there’s just an empty bracket if you don’t have a camera.
2. Inverter - I can’t remember exactly what happens, but it must just come off the bottom of the screen quite easily. Do you need a new inverter board? I just put the old one back on the new screen.

Hi David,
I have a ? about the 1400 screen. I see that the author of the site you mention above answered one of the posters about replacing the inverter. And he said this “First of all, remove yellow tape securing the connection.
After that unlock the connector on the webcam board. Insert the ribbon cable into the connector and lock it.” I don’t have a camera and am not sure how to replace the inverter board. Can you explain to me how you did that. Thanks
